Nangloi Student Stabbing Case: In a shocking incident that highlights escalating violence among teenagers in the national capital, a 15-year-old Class 9 student was stabbed to death in West Delhi’s Nangloi area.
The tragic attack occurred following an argument over the victim’s friendship with a female classmate. According to media reports, the Delhi Police acted swiftly after the incident and apprehended three juveniles involved in the assault within hours of the crime.
The brutal attack has left the victim’s family devasted and raised serious questions regarding the rising presence of sharp weapons and violent disputes among school-aged adolescents in urban areas.
Interception and Heated Altercation on the Way to School
Nangloi Student Stabbing Case: According to media reports citing police officials, the confrontation took place when the 15-year-old student was heading toward school along with a few friends and a female schoolmate.
Three boys intercepted the group along the route and began aggressively questioning the girl about her friendship with the Class 9 student.
A brief verbal argument broke out between the two groups. To avoid further trouble, the teenager and his friends decided to leave the spot and started walking back toward their homes. However, the dispute was far from over.
Second Interception Leads to Fatal Stabbing
Approximately 15 to 20 minutes after the initial altercation, the same three youths intercepted the student and his group again. According to media reports, the attackers reopened the argument regarding the victim’s friendship with the girl.
As the argument escalated, one of the three juveniles pulled out a knife and stabbed the 15-year-old student in his right thigh. The knife wound severed critical blood vessels. Immediately after the stabbing, all three suspects fled the scene.
Victim Succumbs to Excessive Blood Loss
Nangloi Student Stabbing Case: Bleeding profusely, the injured teenager was immediately rushed by his companions to Sonia Hospital in Nangloi. The Nangloi police station received an emergency call from the hospital regarding the admission of a boy with severe stab injuries.
A police team immediately rushed to the medical facility.
Despite emergency medical interventions, doctors could not save the boy. According to media reports, the student succumbed to massive hemorrhage caused by excessive blood loss from the deep thigh wound.
Following a post-mortem examination, the victim’s body was handed over to his grieving family.
Police Action: FIR Registered and 3 Juveniles Detained
The Delhi Police registered a case of murder at the Nangloi Police Station under FIR No. 344/26. Multiple police teams were deployed to trace the fleeing suspects.
Utilizing local intelligence and technical surveillance, law enforcement officers identified and detained all three juvenile suspects within a few hours of the crime.
Police officials stated that questioning of the apprehended minors is underway to reconstruct the complete timeline, understand the exact sequence of events leading to the stabbing, and recover the weapon used in the crime.

This tragic murder in Nangloi has sparked widespread grief and anxiety among local residents. Educational experts and community leaders have expressed deep concern over the increasing tendency among teenagers to resort to lethal weapons over minor interpersonal disputes.
