India’s run in this T20 World Cup 2024 has been going great. They have won all the matches played in this ICC Mega event of the shortest format till now and against Bangladesh as well, Rohit and his men are the favourites to win this encounter tomorrow at Antigua. The bowling has been the real strength of the Men in Blue.
Even though, India is a country which prioritizes batting more in all three forms of the game. Boom Boom Bumrah, Hardik Pandya, Arshdeep Singh, Axar Patel and Kuldeep Yadav as well did well with the white cherry in hand.

However, the form of openers is still a concern. The Tigers should aim to improve their batting performance. Against South Africa in the league stage and versus Australia today, their batters had let them down. The batters of Bangladesh should be able to cope with Bumrah, Arshdeep, Hardik and the spinners of the Men in Blue team. They shouldn’t lose wickets in the powerplay overs which would build the pressure on them.
Shakib Al Hasan, Mahedi Hasan and Mahumullah will hold the key with the bat in hand while Taskin Ahmed and Mustafizur Rahman will have to deliver with the ball. They can operate with the new ball and also get early rid of the out-of-form Indian openers. But still, they will have to negotiate with the in-form middle over batters, which will not be easy.
