Neeraj Chopra was born on 24 December 1997 in Khandra, a small village of Panipat, Haryana. 

His father Satish Kumar is a farmer and his mother Saroj Devi is a housewife.

At the age of 11, he saw players practicing at Panipat Stadium. After that, Neeraj Chopra also got interested in the javelin throw game.

Since then he has been playing the javelin throw game and also completed his studies.

Since then, Neeraj Chopra has won gold medals in the Olympics, World Athletics Championship, Asian Games, Commonwealth Games and Asian Championship.

With this, he became the first and only track and field athlete in the country to win gold in the Olympics in the year 2020.

Along with this, he is also posted on the post of 'Subedar' in the Indian Army.

Neeraj loves drinking tea and playing with dogs.

Now everyone's eyes are on the Olympic 2024 Games, if Neeraj Chopra wins gold here too, then there can be no greater honor for the country than this.
