Gold Loans facility on Google Pay has been announced by Google on October 3. This is the 10th year of the ‘Google for India’ event. It also announced Gemini AI to be available in Hindi and 8 other Indian languages.
Google’s four big announcements–
1. Gold Loans Facility On Google Pay : Gold loans will now be available for Google Pay users across the country. For this, Google has partnered with Muthoot Finance. The company has just given information about the process for the loan. Google Pay has also increased its loan limit to Rs 5 lakh.
2. Google’s partnership with Adani Group: Google has partnered with Adani Group and ClearMax to achieve its sustainability goals in India.
A 61.4 MW solar-wind hybrid plant will install in Khavda, Gujarat, a 6 MW solar plant in Rajasthan, and a 59.4 MW wind plant in Karnataka.
3. UPI Circle released in Google Pay: Google has released a new feature UPI Circle in its online payment service Google Pay. A user making a payment through UPI Circle can permit a person to transact with the required limit from the UPI account.
Recently, the government launched the UPI Circle Delegated Payment Service. Till now this feature was available only in the BHIM app. It will do a maximum transaction of up to 15 thousand in a month.
4. Gemini Live launched in Hindi: Google has launched Gemini Live in Hindi language, which was first introduced in Pixel phones in August this year.
Along with this, in the coming weeks, the company will also add support for Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Telugu, Tamil, and Urdu languages to Gemini Live.
Soon Gemini Live will also support 8 Indian languages including Bengali, and Gujarati.
AI Literacy for 10 million Indians
