Noel Tata has played a very active role in the functioning of Tata Trust. Currently, he is the trustee of Dora Baji Tata Trust. Which comes under Tata Trust. This trust not only manages the philanthropic activities of Tata Group, but Tata Trust also has a 66 percent stake in Tata Sons, the parent company of Tata Group.

Noel Tata was already included in the boards of many companies of Tata Group. He is the chairman of Tata Group’s retail company Trent, Tata International Limited, Tata Investment Corporation as well as the vice chairman of Tata Steel and Titan. The success of Trent during his tenure is being discussed everywhere these days. Trent’s market cap has reached Rs 2.93 lakh crore. Noel Tata was the managing director of Tata International Limited from August 2010 to November 2021 and during his tenure the company’s turnover increased from $ 500 million to $ 3 billion.
18.3 percent stake in Tata Sons
Noel Tata is the son of Naval H Tata and Simon Tata and Aloo Mistry is his wife who comes from the Mistry family of Shapoorji Pallonji Group. Shapoorji Pallonji Group has an 18.3 percent stake in Tata Sons. Noel Tata’s son Neville Tata has also been associated with Trent since 2016 and is the head of Star Bazaar. Lia Tata has recently been given the responsibility of the Gateway brand of Indian Hotels. The second daughter Maya Tata is interested in new-age technology and is associated with Tata Digital.
