Friday, 6th December 2024 To Tuesday, 10th December 2024 – Second Test at Adelaide Oval in Adelaide. Match Timings – 9:30 AM Indian Standard Time, 04:00 AM GMT and 02:30 PM LOCAL.

Rohit Sharma (C), Jasprit Bumrah (VC), Yashasvi Jaiswal, Abhimanyu Easwaran, Shubman Gill, Virat Kohli, KL Rahul, Rishabh Pant (WK), Sarfaraz Khan, Dhruv Jurel (WK), Ravichandran Ashwin, Ravindra Jadeja, Mohammed Siraj, Akash Deep, Prasidh Krishna, Harshit Rana, Nitish Kumar Reddy and Washington Sundar.

The Men in Blue have announced a squad of 18 members to face the Baggy Green side in this five-match red ball series. The pace-bowling all-rounder Nitish Kumar Reddy, pacer Harshit Rana and opener Abhimanyu Easwaran have been selected for the Border Gavaskar Test series. But there will be no Mohammed Shami and the players like Ajinkya Rahane, Cheteshwar Pujara and Shardul Thakur who played well on the last tour of Australia also haven’t been picked for this 2024/2025 five-match red ball series.

Wicketkeeper-batsman Josh Inglis and bowling all-rounder Nathan McSweeney have been handed their debut red-ball call-ups for the series opening encounter. These two players are only the new faces in the 13-man squad announced by the home side for the opening match of this series.
