Maharashtra Elections: In the Maharashtra Assembly elections, Mahayuti (Grand Alliance) won a significant victory, defying all exit poll predictions. The alliance’s success is mainly attributed to the five major schemes launched by the Eknath Shinde government.
Out of these, the Mukhyamantri Ladki Bahin Yojana received an overwhelming response from the people of the state. It appears that the women of the state played a key role in voting for the Mahayuti. Apart fro this, these four schemes of the government also played a key role in reversing the trends ahead of the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
1. Batenge Toh Katenge
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath drew attention to the situation of Hindus in Bangladesh during his election campaign in Maharashtra. During this, he made a statement that “Batenge Toh Katenge”. Ajit Pawar’s NCP and some BJP leaders opposed this comment. However, this statement was liked by Hindu voters and created a feeling of unity among them.
2. Ek Hain Toh Safe Hain
After Yogi Adityanath, Prime Minister Narendra Modi held several election rallies in Maharashtra. During these rallies, he introduced a new slogan, “Ek Hain To Safe Hain”, modifying Yogi Adityanath’s statement. The results show that this message reflects a united stance among Hindu voters.
3. Mukhyamantri Yuva Karya Prashikshan Yojana
The Shinde government had launched the Mukhyamantri Yuva Karya Prashikshan Yojana in last year’s budget, for the implementation of which Rs 5,500 crore was allocated.
Under this scheme, unemployed youth were provided job opportunities in various companies. Candidates with 12th pass qualification were given a monthly stipend of Rs 6,000, ITI passed candidates Rs 8,000 and graduates Rs 10,000. This initiative contributed significantly to the success of Mahayuti.
4. All India Ulema Board
The issue of the fatwa of the All India Ulema Board was being raised by the BJP for the last three-four days. As a result, the Hindu vote got united.
The BJP and Shinde’s Shiv Sena successfully gave the message that the Maha Vikas Aghadi is under Muslim influence.
