India was superb in the first Test match at Perth. Their bowling in both innings was good and the batters also fired in the second innings of that opening encounter at Optus Stadium in Perth. Yashawi Jaiswal and the King, Virat Kohli slammed centuries while KL Rahul and Nitish Kumar Reddy also contributed well for the country.
But in the second Test match, Australia bounced back to level the five-match red ball series to 1-1. India couldn’t display that same energy with the ball and bat with the Pink Cherry. With the bat, Nitish impressed a lot and Boom Boom Bumrah continued his class with the ball in hand for India in the second Test match.
India might make a few changes to their playing eleven for the third Test match in Brisbane. They might drop Harshit Rana and bring Akash Deep in. Ravichandran Ashwin might be dropped and Ravindra Jadeja may replace the Indian ace spin bowler at The Gabba.
India will also want skipper Rohit Sharma back at his familiar position as the opening batsman and they will push Kannur Lokesh Rahul back to his old middle-order position. KL did a decent job in Perth. But he failed to convert the start which he got in the first innings at Adelaide.
