Abbas Ansari has received a big setback from Allahabad High Court in Prayagraj. The court has rejected his bail plea. Allahabad High Court today gave its verdict on the bail plea filed by Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Partya MLA Abbas Ansari in a case registered under the Gangster Act. Abbas Ansari had filed the bail plea after the Supreme Court’s direction.

A single bench of Justice Samit Gopal in Allahabad High Court gave this verdict. It is worth noting that earlier, Abbas Ansari, son of mafia don Mukhtar Ansari, had also received a big setback from the Supreme Court, which had earlier rejected his interim bail plea.

Abbas Ansari Was Arrested in Money Laundering Case

Abbas Ansari was arrested in a money laundering case. It is worth noting that Abbas Ansari had filed a petition for interim bail in the Supreme Court in a case related to the Arms Act. In the last hearing, the court had granted him interim bail.

However, later the Enforcement Directorate (ED) arrested Abbas Ansari in a money laundering case. In December 2022, properties worth Rs 8 crore of family members and close associates of mafia don Mukhtar Ansari were seized.

During this, Superintendent of Police Omveer Singh had told that land purchased in the name of Mukhtar Ansari’s mother Rabia Khatoon and the wife of his close associate and gang member Ejazul Ansari in Dalibagh area of ​​​​Lucknow was also seized.

Mukhtar Ansari’s Death

Earlier this year, notorious gangster and mafia don Mukhtar Ansari died in jail. However, his family members allege that his death was not natural. They claim that Mukhtar Ansari had filed a petition in the court saying that he was being poisoned.

The MP-MLA Gangster Court of Ghazipur had sentenced former Mau MLA Mukhtar Ansari to 10 years imprisonment and imposed a fine of Rs 5 lakh in the Awadhesh Rai murder case. Along with Mukhtar Ansari, Bhim Singh was also sentenced to 10 years in the same case.
