JP Nadda to Hold Press Conference
According to the information received so far, BJP’s National President JP Nadda will release the manifesto of Delhi BJP for the assembly elections in a press conference.
The manifesto is expected to be released on Friday at 2 pm. Party’s National President JP Nadda will go to Delhi BJP State Office and address the press conference.
Delhi Elections: Women-Centric Promises Expected
BJP’s manifesto for the Delhi assembly elections has been prepared on the basis of suggestions from Delhi voters. According to reports, there may be a big announcement of giving honorarium to the women of Delhi in the manifesto.
A few days ago, the manifesto committee of Delhi BJP had made several recommendations to the central leadership. These include a monthly allowance of Rs 2500 for women, free electricity up to 300 units for common households and free electricity up to 500 units for places of worship.
Delhi Elections: Party may Announce Following in its Manifesto
- A declaration of a ₹2,500 monthly allowance for women as a respect honorarium.
- Promise of providing 300 units of free electricity in Delhi.
- Commitment to providing housing to slum dwellers.
- Pledge to provide free bus service for women in Delhi.
- Promise to organise pilgrimages for senior citizens.
When are the Delhi Elections?
The Delhi Assembly elections have become triangular, with a tough fight between the Aam Aadmi Party and the BJP. Congress is also contesting with full force. Elections for the 70 seats of the Delhi Assembly will be held in a single phase.
According to the Election Commission, voting for the Delhi Assembly elections will be held on February 5, 2025 and the results will be declared on February 8, 2025.
