Prime Minister Narendra Modi may soon visit America. During his visit, PM Modi will meet the new US President Donald Trump at his official residence and office, the White House. This information was shared by President Trump himself.
It is worth noting that PM Modi and Donald Trump had a phone conversation on Monday night. In a post on X, PM Modi said, “We are committed to a mutually beneficial and trusted partnership. Together, we will work for the welfare of our people and global peace, prosperity and security.”
Recently, India’s Foreign Minister S Jaishankar attended Donald Trump’s swearing-in ceremony.

Visit Likely in February
US President Donald Trump said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi may visit the White House to meet him in February. Talking about PM Modi, Trump said, “I had a long conversation with him this morning (Monday). We discussed all topics. He will probably come to the White House next month in February. We have a very good relationship with India.”
India-US Relations to Strengthen Further
It is noteworthy that Donald Trump’s last foreign visit during his first term as President was to India. Relations between India and the US improved significantly during Trump’s tenure. The two leaders jointly addressed rallies in Houston (2019) and Ahmedabad (2020).
When Trump won the presidential election again in November 2024, PM Modi was among the top three world leaders to speak to him.
