Monalisa Bags Her First Film
Monalisa has been signed by writer-director Sanoj Mishra for the film Diary of Manipur. The film is based on the horrific events that took place in Manipur and Monalisa will be playing an important role in it.
Director Sanoj Mishra himself went to Monalisa’s house in Maheshwar, located in Khargone district of Madhya Pradesh, to cast Monalisa in his upcoming film. A picture of the two together has also surfaced. Monalisa has agreed to do the film and has assured Sanoj Mishra that she will work hard for her character.
A video of director Sanoj Mishra has surfaced on social media, in which he told that he met Monalisa’s family. He said, “I will present Monalisa well in the film. My aim is to make her future in films. I also met her family, and they are very humble people. Monalisa is ready to work hard. She is still young, and it is our responsibility to prepare her.”
Monalisa’s Role Still a Mystery, Film Set for October Release
Monalisa’s role in Diary of Manipur is yet to be officially revealed. However, speculations are rife that she might play the daughter of an army officer. The film, which has a budget of Rs 20 crore, is slated to release in October. The shooting is expected to begin in February, while Monalisa will join the sets by March or April.
Director Sanoj Mishra is quite famous in the industry, he has previously directed films like Ram Ki Janmabhoomi, The Diary of West Bengal and Kashi to Kashmir.
Monalisa, who hails from Khargone district of Madhya Pradesh, has become an internet sensation in Mahakumbh due to her charming smile and captivating eyes. Her popularity has increased to such an extent that many of her Bhojpuri songs have already been released.
