Mahakumbh 2025: Over 650 Chartered Planes Land at Prayagraj Airport
The highest number of chartered planes landed on 11 February, a record 71 planes landed in a single day.
Since 8 February, more than 60 chartered and private planes are arriving every day. So far, over 650 chartered planes have landed at the airport.

Top industrialists, politicians, celebrities, foreign diplomats and thousands of people from the film and entertainment industry have arrived at the MahaKumbh in chartered flights for the holy dip. Such influential people continue to arrive.
Apart from chartered flights, regular flights of SpiceJet, IndiGo and Air India are also landing at Prayagraj airport, with around 300 flights arriving every week.
By February 14, the number of devotees visiting the Mahakumbh had crossed 50 crores. Be it private vehicles, trains or airplanes, the huge crowd of devotees has set new records.

According to airport officials, the number of people landing at Prayagraj airport in a day has now exceeded the monthly traffic on normal days. This is also a record in itself.
At present, Prayagraj has become one of the busiest airports in the country, where the maximum number of chartered and private planes are arriving at this time.
