Qatar Emir Visited India in 2015 as Well

Qatar’s Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani has come to India for the second time. Earlier he had come to India in 2015. India-Qatar relations have become stronger in the last few years.
During his visit, the Emir of Qatar will meet President Droupadi Murmu and also hold talks with Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday.
In a statement on Saturday, the Ministry of External Affairs said his visit will add further impetus to our growing partnership in diverse sectors. Sheikh Tamim is accompanied by a high-level delegation, including ministers, senior officials and a business delegation.
Bilateral Meeting with PM Modi
According to a statement from the Ministry of External Affairs, External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar will meet Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani. On Tuesday morning, the Emir of Qatar will be accorded a ceremonial welcome at the forecourt of Rashtrapati Bhavan, followed by a meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi at Hyderabad House. Various aspects of bilateral relations will be discussed in this discussion.
Agreements and Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) will be exchanged in the afternoon, after which the Emir will meet President Droupadi Murmu.
Sheikh Tamim is visiting India at the invitation of Prime Minister Modi. This is his second visit to India. In recent years, India and Qatar have strengthened ties in various fields, including trade, investment, energy, technology and culture.
