In a run chase of a mammoth score of 219 runs, Afghanistan were skittled out for just 114 runs. In that, Gurbaz scored a duck and Zadran was the top scorer in that innings with 38 runs.
Against an undefeated side like India, the Afghans should be on their toes to make a match out of it and that too in a Super 8 clash of a tournament like the T20 World Cup.
Afghanistan will also look to get their first win against the Men in Blue side. Fraooqi, Zadran, Rashid and Gurbaz will be the players to watch out for from their side.

Pant has also been India’s lone highest run scorer in this ICC mega event of the shortest format. Suryakumar Yadav scored an unbeaten fifty in the game versus USA, that will boost his confidence ahead of the upcoming matches.
The bowling has no issues. Arshdeep, Bumrah and Siraj have had a great time in the United States Of America with the white cherry.
Now these pace bowlers will also want to continue their good work in the Caribbean as well. Axar Patel has been the lone spin who has picked up wickets while Jaddu hasn’t contributed with the bat or ball as of now.
India will also be in a dilemma to play with three spin bowlers and two front-line pacers with Hardik and Dube can be the third pace bowling option.
But Siraj or Arshdeep have been in good form. Singh is the joint highest wicket-taker with Pandya in this T20 World Cup 2024 for India and dropping Axar or Jaddu will not give India a batting depth.
