Amit Shah’s Remarks

Amit Shah continued, “Rahul Gandhi has once again exposed the anti-reservation face of Congress by advocating for the removal of reservation. But they should know that as long as the BJP is in power, no one can play with the unity of the country.”

What Rahul Gandhi Said

On September 10, 2024, during his visit to the United States, Rahul Gandhi spoke to students at Georgetown University. When asked about the future of reservation in India, he responded that Congress would consider ending reservation at the right time. He pointed out that if financial data is examined, tribals receive only 10 paise out of every 100 rupees, Dalits get 5 paise, and OBCs receive a similar small amount. Essentially, he argued that they are not receiving their fair share of participation.

Rajnath Singh’s Criticism

During the same visit, Rahul Gandhi also made comments about the India-Pakistan and India-China disputes. Defence Minister Rajnath Singh sharply criticized him for these remarks. Singh said that the claims Rahul Gandhi made about the India-China border dispute on American soil were misleading and factually incorrect.
