Ayodhya: Despite the BJP’s defeat in Ayodhya, the Yogi Adityanath government continues its development efforts in the city. UP CM Yogi Adityanath has announced a new gift for Ayodhya: a facility for visitors to tour the city by golf cart.
New Facility for Ayodhya Visitors
If you are planning a visit to Ayodhya to see Ramlala, there’s a new convenience awaiting you. The UP government has introduced e-carts for city tours. These eco-friendly carts promise a unique experience as they reduce pollution and enhance the enjoyment of exploring Ayodhya. The routes for these carts are being finalized and will include major temples and the Saryu river bank.
Enjoyable and Sustainable City Tours
Soon, tourists will see e-carts operating on all major roads in Ayodhya. These carts, which come in 12 and 18-seater models, will allow visitors to comfortably tour all major temples and take in the city’s skyline. Currently, 25 carts have been deployed for trial runs.
The e-carts will be available from Ram Path, the main route in the city, and will run from Guptar Ghat to various religious sites. They will operate from morning to evening, with three different drivers working in shifts to ensure continuous service.
Special Provisions for Elderly and Disabled Visitors
The trial run of these e-carts started during the Pran Pratishtha event, focusing on providing a comfortable travel experience for the elderly and disabled. This initiative has not only made travel easier for these groups but has also contributed to reducing pollution in Ayodhya. Additionally, electric buses have started operating in the city, further supporting eco-friendly transportation options.
The Yogi Adityanath government’s initiative to introduce e-carts in Ayodhya is set to enhance the visitor experience while promoting sustainability. With the trial runs in place, tourists and pilgrims can look forward to a convenient and enjoyable way to explore the city’s spiritual and cultural landmarks.
