Bank Will Remain Close For 9 Days In September

Along with September, festivals have also started. There are many festivals in this month. In such a situation, there are lots of holidays in bank. This month, there is going to be a continuous holiday for 9 days in banks. So that the important work of the people does not get stuck due to such a long holiday, the Reserve Bank of India releases the list of holidays before the month starts.

How many holidays in banks in September

This month, there will be holidays starting from 14th to almost 29th September. Including  holidays of second Saturday and Sunday on 14th and 15th of this month. Other than this:

September 16, 2024- Banks will be closed in Chennai, Dehradun, Lucknow, Kochi, Mumbai, Nagpur, New Delhi, Hyderabad, Imphal, Jammu, Ahmedabad, Aizawl, Belapur, Bengaluru, Kanpur, Ranchi, Srinagar and Trivandrum due to Barawafaat.

September 17, 2024- Banks will be closed in Raipur and Gangtok due to Milad-un-Nabi.

18 September, 2024- Banks will remain closed due to Pang-Lhabsol.

20 September, 2024- Banks will remain closed in Srinagar on Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi.

21 September, 2024- Banks will remain closed in Trivandrum and Kochi on Sri Narayana Guru Samadhi Diwas.

22 September, 2024- Banks will remain closed across the country due to Sunday.

23 September, 2024- Banks will remain closed in Jammu and Srinagar on the birthday of Maharaja Hari Singh.

From 24th to 27th, it will work like normal days.

28 September, 2024- Banks will remain closed across the country due to fourth Saturday.

29 September, 2024- Banks will remain closed across the country on Sunday.

Even after so many holidays, your bank work will not stop. Now you can use ATM for cash withdrawal. It can also be used for depositing money. Apart from this, you can use UPI or net banking to transfer money.
