The Indian government has banned 16 Pakistani YouTube channels following the recommendation of the Home Ministry. The banned channels include prominent names like Dawn News, Samaa TV and Geo News.

The official said that Pakistani YouTube channels have been blocked due to the spread of inflammatory and hateful content against India.
India’s Bold Moves Against Pakistan After Pahalgam Attack
A terrorist attack took place in the Baisaran Valley in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday (April 22), in which many tourists were killed. After this attack, the Indian government has taken many big decisions.
On Wednesday (April 23) evening, a high-level meeting of the Cabinet Committee on Security (CCS) was held in India in which the situation was discussed. Five tough decisions were taken against Pakistan in the meeting:
- Closure of the Attari-Wagah border check post between India and Pakistan.
- Shutting down the Indian Embassy in Pakistan.
- Suspension of the Indus Waters Treaty between the two countries.
- All Pakistani diplomats in India to leave the country within 48 hours.
- Suspension of visa issuance to Pakistani nationals
- Blocking of the official account of the Pakistan government on X.
As an additional measure, the Indian government today banned 16 Pakistani YouTube channels following the recommendation of the Home Ministry.
