Several states of India are witnessing an intense heatwave with over 45 degrees Celsius. According to reports a significant number of brain stroke have been recorded in various regions.
Summer heat waves are typically not uncommon for heat strokes but recently there has also been a sudden uptick in brain stroke cases.
People who experience abnormally high body temperatures can develop heat stroke. It is typically brought on by an abrupt exposure to extremely hot conditions. On the other hand, our brain is not able to adapt sudden changes in temperature or blood pressure due to which the chances of brain stroke increases.
When the temperature changes suddenly, the flow of blood slow down and forms a clot. There are usually two types of brain strokes i.e ischemic and hemorrhagic. In present time cases of ischemic strokes are rising.
Know how many types of brain stroke are there
According to doctors, there are two types of brain strokes, the first of which is seismic stroke. In this situation, due to some reason, blood circulation in the veins of the brain stops. This increases the risk of brain haemorrhage by 99 per cent. On the other hand, hemorrhagic stroke occurs in which blood flow increases due to the rupture of a brain vein. This can cause paralysis in any part of the body.
