CM Yogi stated, “A society that cannot protect its sisters and daughters has no future.” He further emphasized that if daughters and sisters are unsafe, the future of society will be bleak.

Yogi Criticised Past Governance

In his speech, CM Yogi reminded the public of the state’s situation before 2017—highlighting the prevalence of riots, hooliganism, and general insecurity, where daughters were unsafe and farmers did not benefit from government schemes. He asserted, “But today, I am in a position to declare that every sister will be safe.”

Targeting the Samajwadi Party (SP)

CM Yogi also criticized the Samajwadi Party (SP) for its handling of women’s safety issues. He praised the leadership of Prime Minister Modi for strengthening India’s security and improving the overall environment. During his address, Yogi targeted the SP and referenced the rape of a minor girl in Ayodhya, involving SP leader Moeed Khan. He criticized the SP leadership for standing with the accused, asserting that when action is taken, the head of the Samajwadi Party is seen shamelessly supporting those accused in such cases.
