If media reports are to be believed, 9 to 10 grams of sugar is present in a 750 ml bottle of cold drink available in India. Specialists of the American Heart Association recommend not to consume more than 30 grams of sugar daily. If you drink cold drinks even three times a day, then it causes more sugar than the prescribed amount to reach the body, which can be harmful for the body. Apart from this, they neither contain fiber nor any other nutrients necessary for the body. With every bottle, a large amount of such elements are going into the body due to which you can become a victim of many chronic diseases.
Poison for heart, liver
You must have heard that a short-term benefit can cause harm for a lifetime. This cold drink is exactly like this, after drinking it you will feel cool for a while but later it will harm your body from within. Soft drinks are full of fructose which the liver is unable to break down properly. The result of this is that it keeps accumulating in your liver over time. This can put you at risk of long-term fatty liver disease. You can also get type-2 diabetes from this. The risk of heart disease also increases by 50 percent.

These drinks sold in the market in the name of orange-cumin-mango have more chemical flavors for taste while their actual quantity is much less. These drinks can be the main reason for increasing obesity in children and fatty liver problems in people who do not drink alcohol.
