In the wake of the consecration of the Ram temple on January 22, a surge of devotees from across the globe has inundated Ayodhya, marking the return of Ramlala after years of anticipation. While the consecration ceremony has concluded, the construction endeavours persist, fueled by a relentless commitment to meet the targeted completion date of November 2024.
Construction Progress and Schedule:
Since the laying of the foundation stone on August 5, 2020, construction has been underway fervently, with nearly four years dedicated to the temple’s realization. Of the five planned gates, three have been meticulously erected, while the construction of the remaining two gates remains ongoing.
Nripendra Mishra, the chairman overseeing the building construction committee, affirms the collective dedication to accomplishing the temple’s construction by the stipulated deadline.
Round-the-Clock Efforts:
Amidst the steady influx of devotees flocking for darshan during the day, labourers toil tirelessly throughout the night, ensuring uninterrupted progress towards completing the sacred edifice. Despite fluctuations in labour availability, concerted efforts have been reinstated, bolstered by an augmented workforce, underscoring the unwavering commitment to expedite the construction timeline.
Enhanced Devotee Facilities:
In a testament to prioritizing devotee welfare, the temple premises now boast a dedicated mini ICU facility, aimed at addressing any sudden health concerns among visitors. Additionally, an outpatient department (OPD) has been inaugurated at the Passenger Service Centre, offering holistic healthcare services encompassing homoeopathy, allopathy, and Ayurveda treatments. This inclusive approach ensures comprehensive care for all patrons of the temple.
