CT 2025 Final: The CT 2025 Finals ended as one of the best contests of the ICC Champions Trophy 2025. Both teams, India and New Zealand, fought hard until the last over, and that’s how they produced a thriller in the end. India dominated the majority of this crucial match.
At the same time, New Zealand had their moments as well. But they failed to capitalize on them. That’s why India seized the game and won their second Champions Trophy yesterday in Dubai. After 2024, India has also won their second back-to-back ICC trophy with this win.
Today, In This Segment, We Have Named The 5 Top Peformers Of The CT 2025 Finals Played Between India And New Zealand At Dubai International Cricket Stadium In Dubai –
1. Michael Bracewell –

CT 2025 Final: This Kiwi spin bowling all-rounder Michael Bracewell is our top performer from New Zealand in the CT 2025 Finals. New Zealand won the toss. But they couldn’t repeat their batting heroics which they showed in their game versus South Africa in the semi-finals 2.
The Blackcaps lost wickets at regular intervals. Williamson, Ravindra, Young and Latham didn’t do much in the CT 2025 Finals. Daryl Mitchell scored a valuable 63 runs. But it was Bracewell’s unbeaten 53 run knock which allowed New Zealand to post a decent total of 251 runs.
If Bracewell had not played that vital innings at the end of the innings, then New Zealand would have struggled their way through. With the white cherry, Bracewell also picked up two wickets to his name. But his contributions with the bat and bowl didnt prove enough for the Kiwis.
2. Varun And Kuldeep –

CT 2025 Final: India strangled the Kiwi batters with spin again just like they did in the last group stage match against New Zealand. Kuldeep and Varun did well with the ball in hand. The Chinaman bowler, Kuldeep picked up the wickets of in-form batters, Rachin and Kane.
While Varun Chakarbarthy is having a form of his life. He was the best bowler in the T20I format in the series against England and since then, he has been successfully spinning a web around the best batters in the world. It was Varun, who broke the 57-run stand between the New Zealand openers. He picked up Young and also got the important scalp of Glenn Philips.
3. Rohit Sharma –

CT 2025 Final: The Indian skipper, Rohit Sharma, was been in his best form during the CT 2025 Finals. India got to a flyer mainly because of HITMAN’s aggressive batting stint. He shared an opening partnership of 105 for the first wicket with Shubman Gill in this run chase.
Rohit was looking to be the second Indian after Sourav Ganguly to score a century in the ICC finals. But he was stumped by Tom Latham off Rachin Ravindra’s bowling. HITMAN played well for his 76 runs which he scored from 83 deliveries.
4. Shreyas Iyer –

CT 2025 Final: India needed someone to stabilize the innings, especially after Gill, Kohli and Rohit got out. Gill played well for his 31 runs. But it was Glenn Philips who broke the opening stand with a one-handed catch. Kohli could muster just one run in this all-important match.
However, it was Shreyas Iyer who has been consistent at the number four batting position. He held his nerve to bring the Indian innings on the right track. Iyer scored 48 runs in the finals and he is also India’s highest run getter in this 50 overs tournament.
5. KL Rahul –

CT 2025 Final: India needed a finishing kick to lift their second title of the Champions Trophy. After Iyer and Patel got out, it was Kannur Lokesh Rahul who finished the innings off in style for the Men in Blue. India made this easy run chase as a tricky one because they lost the wickets at crucial junctures.
Ideally, India shouldn’t have required the batting expertise of KL Rahul because the game was in India’s grasp. But credit goes to Santner and Co for fighting till the last over, and due to that, India had to earn this win. KL was unbeaten on 34 runs. It was his cool and calm presence which allowed India to go over the line despite the tense situations.
