The Supreme Court has granted bail to Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal in the scam related to the excise policy case. After getting bail, CM Kejriwal will come out of jail shortly and will meet the people of Delhi. This is a relief news for the Aam Aadmi Party before the Haryana elections. It is believed that now he will be able to campaign more vigorously in this election.

Assembly elections may be held earlier

There are reports that the Delhi Assembly elections proposed in February 2025 may be held before time. If this happens, then elections will be held in Delhi by the end of this year. ED had arrested Chief Minister

On 21 March 2024, the ED arrested CM Arvind Kejriwal in an alleged money laundering case related to the excise policy case. He was first questioned for 10 days, after which he was sent to Tihar Jail on 1 April. After that, on 10 May, the Supreme Court granted interim bail to Arvind Kejriwal till 1 June due to his poor health. He is the first chief minister to be arrested on duty.

Former Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia has expressed happiness over Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal getting bail. He wrote in a post on X that today truth has won again in the fight against lies and conspiracies. At the same time, Aam Aadmi Party has also shared the video on X.
