Delhi Polls: Assembly elections are to be held in Delhi in February next year. With this, the political atmosphere in the capital has become quite heated. The BJP has released a list of allegations against the Delhi government, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and former Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal.
BJP Unleashes a Series of Allegations
On Monday, BJP MP Anurag Thakur, Delhi BJP President Virendra Sachdeva and other party leaders released a chargesheet against the Arvind Kejriwal government. The list of allegations directly targets the Delhi government and Arvind Kejriwal.
Poor Roads, Drinking Water, and Electricity Supply
BJP leaders have also released a booklet as part of the chargesheet. It states that during the tenure of the Aam Aadmi Party government, Delhi has become the most polluted city, with the air quality index being over 1200.
The BJP has also accused the Delhi government of a liquor scam worth Rs 100 crore. Apart from this, the booklet also mentions the serious problems of roads, drinking water and electricity supply in the city.
According to the BJP, due to these shortcomings, the people of Delhi are dissatisfied with the AAP government.
Corruption Charges Take Center Stage Against Kejriwal
