UP DGP Prashant Kumar told in a press conference that all preparations have been made to make the Mahakumbh 2025 event successful. A seven-level security system has been prepared to ensure that no one is harmed. It is estimated that about 50 crore people will come to Prayagraj in this 45-day Mahakumbh fair. Amazing arrangements have been made for their security.

Digital warriors are ready

He further told that digital warriors have been created for Kumbh. College students have been prepared for this. At the same time, the entire cyber space is being monitored with the help of departments of the Government of India. Along with this, he said that every inch of Mahakumbh is being monitored with CCTV cameras and drones. Along with this, new equipment worth Rs 200 crore has been purchased to avoid any natural disaster.

Vigilance will be increased on the borders

The DGP said that vigilance will be increased on international borders and interstate borders during Kumbh. For this, the policemen deployed in Kumbh are being given rigorous training. The organization of Mahakumbh 2025 is a huge opportunity for the UP Police and for this the UP Police is working day and night.

Akhadas started arriving

With this, 13 akhadas of Hinduism have started entering Prayagraj. The oldest of these akhadas, Shri Panch Dashnam Aawahan Akhara, entered the Kumbh area in a royal style on Sunday. In which this grand procession of elephants, horses, drums and sadhus and saints along with Naga sadhus was welcomed by the devotees with flowers. In this procession, sadhus and saints were seen moving forward with loud slogans of “Har-Har Mahadev” while showing their skills with spear, trident and sword and became the center of attraction.
