The newly elected President of the United States Donald Trump is preparing to take the oath of office on Monday. Trump has said that his swearing-in ceremony will take place inside the US Capitol rather than outside due to the extreme cold. Reports have described it as one of the coldest swearing-in ceremonies in recent history.
“The weather forecast for Washington, D.C. could bring temperatures to record lows. There is an arctic storm blowing across the country. I don’t want people to be affected by that. Therefore, in addition to the prayer and other speeches, I have directed that the inaugural address be given inside the United States Capitol,” Trump said on his social media platform on Friday.
