Google’s annual developer conference ‘Google I/O 2024’ event will be held today i.e. on May 14 (Tuesday). In this event, Google can launch Android-15, Google Pixel Fold 2, Gemini AI, Wear OS-5 and Google TV. This event happens every year.
This event of Google will be held at the Shoreline Amphitheater located in Mountain Views, California. This event will start at 10.30 pm Indian time. It will be livestreamed on the company’s YouTube channel and social media handles.
According to reports, the company can also bring many big updates related to Google AI Chatbot- Gemini in this event. Gemini was formerly known as Bard. Google wants to gradually extend its Gemini AI to every application.
The company can launch 4 big launches:
- Virtual Assistant ‘Pixie’: The company wants to gradually bring its Gemini AI to every application, such as Google Maps, Chrome, Google Workspace and Gmail. The company can also bring Google Pixel’s exclusive virtual assistant ‘Pixie’.
- Android Software Android-15: For the last several days, the company has been working on the latest Android software Android-15 for its smartphones. According to reports, many AI related features and updates can be seen in Android-15.
- Gmail-Google Photos Update: Android-15 is currently with beta testers, which includes new features, productivity, privacy and security. In this event, many updates can be seen in different services of Google, such as Gmail, Google Photos.
- Pixel Fold Second Generation: Some media reports have claimed that the company can present the second generation of Pixel Fold in this event. This year the company has announced Google Pixel 8a, the sale of which will start from today i.e. 14th May.
Google’s I/O event took place for the first time in 2008
Google has been organizing this event every year since 2008. Through this, the company introduces new technology among the people along with many new gadgets.
