ICC ODI Final: The former Indian skipper and one of the best, inspirational captain of the Men in Blue, Sourav Ganguly is still the only captain from Team India who has scored a hundred in the ICC ODI Finals as of now. Dada was the skipper of the team when India reached the finals of the CT twice in 2000 and 2002.
The final of the 2002 Champions Trophy was rained off due to the rains in Sri Lanka. But the finals of the 2000 edition of this eight-team tournament, which was called the ICC Knock Out, was played at Nairobi in Kenya, and Ganguly scored a magnificent 117 runs against New Zealand. Unfortunately, it ended in a losing cause for India.
2. Mahendra Singh Dhoni –

ICC ODI Final: No Indian fan can forget this knock from the skipper who brought the ODI World Cup home after 28 years and India also became the first host country to win an ODI WC in 2011. ICC ODI Final: Rohit Sharma is the only captain from the Men in Blue who have won two back to back ICC Trophies. India won the 2024 T20 WC under Rohit and on Sunday, HITMAN also led and played a key role in the CT 2025 final win against New Zealand in Dubai International Cricket Stadium.
India was chasing 252 runs to win the final match of the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 and the Indian skipper gave the much needed start for the team. His aggressive batting had put the Kiwi bowlers under pressure. Sharma Ji scored a fluent 76 runs in the finals and that is also the third highest score by an Indian skipper in the ICC ODI Finals.
