IIT Kanpur has developed an amazing device that will provide report of mouth cancer within a minute. It will take a picture of the inside of your mouth, analyze it, and will make a report immediately. Not only this, but this device will also tell the stage of cancer.

This device has been developed by Scan Genie Company with the help of Prof. Jayant Kumar Singh of the Chemical Engineering Department. It is expected to come to the market by December. Let us now tell you its price.

Price of the cancer detection device

Prof. Jayant told that many of the items used in this mouth cancer detection device have to be imported from abroad, due to which its price will be between 1.5 to 2 lakh rupees. The good thing is that at least 5 lakh people can be examined with one device. This device can bring a big revolution in the medical sector.

How does the device work- IIT Kanpur

This device is the size of a toothbrush. It also has a high quality camera and LED. It can even be connected to a smartphone, tablet or iPad. After taking a picture of the inside of the mouth, the camera will send a detailed report to the mobile. It keeps collecting health history for tracking with power backup. Its result is 90% accurate and there is no pain in its examination.
