Shreyas Iyer, the current title-winning skipper in the Indian Premier League will play for the Punjab Kings franchise team who never won an IPL glory even once in the seasons played from 2008. Shreyas also took his previous franchise, Delhi Capitals till the finals in the season of IPL 2020 which was played in United Arab Emirates (UAE).
Shreyas Iyer was brought for the prize money of 26.75 crores by the PBKS franchise. Last year Iyer scored 351 runs for Kolkata Knight Riders in their title-winning season. Iyer was also rge fourth highest getter for KKR in IPL 2024. Now PBKS will hope that Iyer shines for their franchise and end the years drought in this season of IPL 2025.
