T20I World Cup: Whenever there is a match between India and Pakistan the intensity goes high as well as atmosphere also.
Pakistan’s PM Shebaz Sharif has said a clear statement that Pakistan will not play the T20I World Cup match with India.
They are showing their support to Bangladesh and for their justice they’ll boycott the match with India.
Most of the time India has won matches against Pakistan and they still try to challenge India without any sense.
Whenever the ICC announces a T20 World Cup, cricket fans circle one fixture in red: India vs Pakistan.
The hype is massive, the build-up is cinematic, and Pakistani fans are told “this time it’s different“, But ends up on the losing side and gets trolled by Indian fans.
There was a time when Pakistan had such good pacers and batters but somehow India also had great players and they used to play with each other with total rivalry with some players for eg.

Pakistan Stands with Bangladesh
All this started when Mustafizur was released from KKR (Kolkata Knight Riders) by the instruction of BCCI regarding the Hindu’s that were facing the problems in Bangladesh.
Just after that Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) decided to boycott IPL and T20I World Cup for Mustafizur’s justice and in their favour Pakistan was also supporting them in this decision.
BCB decided to not play a match in India and wanted to shift it’s venue from India to Sri Lanka for their matches and started writing an application to ICC.
But ICC rejected their plea of changing the venue from India and gave them time to decide whether they want to play in India or get removed from the World Cup.
The time was provided till 22 January 2026 and had multiple of meeting’s with the board members but they decided to not participate in the World Cup.
And after not responding to the board members Bangladesh was replaced by Scotland ahead of the T20I World Cup.
Out of nowhere pakistan started protesting for bangladesh and they are saying they will not play the match against India.
If Pakistan will not play against India they’ll have to pay a huge amount to ICC for the rights of viewership and ICC will impose a ban on Pakistan which will damage their board heavily.
Pakistan fans keep hearing, “On their day, Pakistan can beat anyone.”Until Pakistan learn that matches are won by runs, catches, and nerves, not vibes and motivational quotes, this rivalry will remain what it’s been for years in ICC events.
