The Mysterious Vanishing
Kuldhara, a village nestled in the arid lands of Jaisalmer, Rajasthan, holds a tale shrouded in mystery. Over 170 years ago, it became a ghost town overnight, its once vibrant streets now eerily silent. Even birds shun its boundaries, leaving it desolate and abandoned.
The Fateful Encounter : Kuldhara
Two centuries ago, Kuldhara was home to Paliwal Brahmins until the sinister gaze of Diwan Salim Singh fell upon it. Enraptured by the beauty of a village girl, the Diwan’s obsession led him to demand her hand in marriage under threat of annihilation. In defiance, the villagers chose exile over submission, vanishing into the night, leaving behind a haunting enigma.
Kuldhara Lost to Time
Despite efforts to revive Kuldhara, it remains untouched by human habitation, frozen in time like a forgotten relic. Alongside Khabha, it stands as a silent testament to an unresolved past, guarded by the Archaeological Department of India.
Spectral Whispers
Whispers persist of spiritual guardians who patrol the village, their presence palpable even in daylight. Yet, as twilight descends, Kuldhara is said to transform into a realm of otherworldly beings, sealing its gates against mortal intrusion. Many who have dared to venture within its confines after dark have met with inexplicable accidents.
Echoes of the Past
Anshul Sharma, President of the Paranormal Society, recounts encounters with the supernatural in Kuldhara. Handprints of unseen children adorn vehicles, and through the invocation of spirits, glimpses into the village’s spectral realm have been glimpsed, but the truth remains elusive, buried beneath layers of folklore and fear.
