The swearing-in ceremony of the new Chief Minister of Maharashtra will take place at Azad Maidan on December 5. Special arrangements have been made to make the ceremony grand, with around 40,000 people expected to attend.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah and several other Union ministers will be present at the ceremony.
22 Chief Ministers to Attend Maharashtra CM Swearing-In Ceremony
Chief Ministers of 22 states across the country will also attend the event. Apart from this, special invitation has been given to the Ladli sisters of Maharashtra, Anganwadi workers and women from various fields.
Around 2,000 VIP passes will be issued. Seating arrangements have been made for the guests in 13 specially designed blocks.
Three Stages to Be Set Up
Three stages will be built for this program. Along with a main stage, two smaller stages will be built on both sides. A separate stage will also be built for saints and religious leaders of different communities.
Special seating arrangements are being made for MPs, MLAs and Mahayuti office bearers so that everyone can get space to celebrate this grand occasion.
Opposition Leaders will also be Invited
Sudhir Mungantiwar, senior BJP leader from Maharashtra said that all opposition leaders, including Uddhav Thackeray, who are leaders in the legislature, will be invited.
It will depend on them whether they attend or not. The central observer will reach Mumbai on the evening of December 3. On December 4, there will be a meeting of BJP MLAs in the Central Hall of Vidhan Bhavan, in which the leader will be decided.
