When his condition worsened, his family took him to the district hospital. The incident has now become a topic of discussion.
Mathura: Man Tries to Operate on Himself After Severe Stomach Pain
The entire incident took place in Vrindavan in Mathura district, where a young man attempted to get himself operated due to severe stomach pain. When his condition worsened, his family admitted him to the district hospital.
According to the information received, 32-year-old Raja Babu, son of Kanhaiya Thakur, a resident of Sunrakh village in Vrindavan, was suffering from severe stomach pain for several days.
Despite consulting doctors several times, he did not get any relief. Frustrated, he decided to undergo surgery on his own.
Self-Surgery Ends in Emergency
According to Raja Babu, when the stomach pain became unbearable, he went to Mathura and bought medicines, surgical blades and stitching material from a medical store. He also bought an anesthesia injection. On Wednesday morning, he started his operation in his room itself.
However, after some time when the effect of the injection wore off, he started experiencing severe pain and started screaming outside the house. His family members were shocked to hear his screams. Without wasting any time, they rushed him to the district hospital, where doctors are treating him.
His family member Rahul said that Raja Babu had undergone appendicitis surgery about 18 years ago. Recently he complained of stomach pain and consulted several doctors, but did not get any relief. Frustrated, he decided to treat himself. Fortunately, doctors have confirmed that his condition is now out of danger.
