Children are suffering from many diseases and problems due to the use of mobile. That is why psychologists have come up with the concept of mobile fast to deal with these. But what is it and what are its benefits, we will tell you here.
These days everyone, whether adults or children, is busy with mobile the whole day. Due to which many disadvantages are also occurring. But the children are suffering the most from this. Due to excessive use of mobile, children are not able to concentrate on studies and despite having a good sleep, they look lethargic. To save children from these problems, parents have to take some steps.
In this regard, psychologists have come up with the concept of mobile fast. In which children have to be kept away from the phone for a fixed number of hours one day in a week or every day. During this time, if possible, parents should also keep a distance from the phone and spend time with each other.
Let us tell you that in many villages of Kota, Udaipur and Dungarpur in Rajasthan, children are not allowed to use mobile phones after 7 pm. Apart from this, children in Ahilyanagar district of Maharashtra also observe mobile fast. Even swearing in this village leads to a fine. Along with this, in many institutions of educational cities like Kota and Sikar, students are given landline or keypad phones once a week to keep them away from mobile phones. Very good changes are being seen in children due to this technology.
Strict laws in foreign countries
Many countries like Australia, France, Germany, Belgium, Italy, Netherlands, Norway, Britain, Ireland, Canada have strict laws on children using social media. Even in Sweden, children below two years of age cannot even touch a mobile phone. Screen time is fixed for children up to 12 years of age. Whereas in Australia and Florida, children below 16 years of age cannot use social media. But there is no such law in India, due to which every second child in our country is seen making reels.
What are the disadvantages
According to the Global Education Monitoring Report, children are becoming victims of depression due to mobile phones. It is also weakening them mentally due to which they are also becoming victims of social distance. Along with this, they may have problems of memory and sleeplessness.
