Tech company Motorola has today (16 May) launched a new Edge series smartphone Motorola Edge 50 Fusion in the Indian market. The smartphone is equipped with many special features like 50 megapixel Sony LYT-700C primary sensor, IP68 water proof rating. If talking about battery, it has 5000mAh battery and 12GB RAM and 68W fast charging.
The company launched the smartphone in Europe last month. Now it has been launched in India in two variants – 8GB+128GB and 12GB+256GB. Its starting price has been kept at Rs 22,999. The smartphone is available with Forest Blue, Marshmallow Blue and Hot Pink color options.
You can buy it with an instant discount of Rs 2,000 on ICICI Bank credit and debit cards as part of the launch offer. Motorola Edge 50 Fusion will be available for sale in the country from May 22 on Flipkart, official website and offline stores.
Motorola Edge 50 Fusion: Specifications
- Display: Motorola Edge 50 Fusion smartphone has a 6.7-inch 3D curved pOLED display with 2400×1080 pixel resolution, which works at 144Hz refresh rate. Its peak brightness is 1600nits and it has an in-display fingerprint sensor and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection.
- Processor: For performance in the smartphone, the company has given Qualcomm Snapdragon 7S Gen 2 chipset in it. This chipset can work at a high clock speed of up to 2.4 GHz.
- Storage: To save memory, the device has up to 256 GB internal storage with up to 12 GB RAM.
- Camera: For photography, dual rear camera setup has been provided on the back panel of Motorola Edge 50 Fusion. It has a 50MP Sony LYTIA 700C sensor with OIS, a 120-degree field of view, and a 13MP ultra-wide-angle lens with support for 4x macro shots. Whereas, a 32-megapixel front camera has been provided for selfie and video calling.
- Battery: For power backup, the company has provided a 5,000mAh battery with 68W fast charging in the mobile.
- OS: Talking about the operating system of the phone, it works on Halo UI based on Android 14. Not only this, it will get 3 years of OS and 4 years of security updates.
- Others: For connectivity, it has support for 15 5G bands. For safety, there is also a water and dust resistant IP68 rating and an in-display fingerprint sensor.
