New Exam Date Announcement
The new date for the NEET PG 2024 exam is expected to be announced next week. According to media reports, the exam is likely to be conducted by August 15. This decision follows the unfortunate cancellation of the original exam scheduled for June 23 due to a paper leak incident on June 22. The upcoming exam will be held in CBT (Computer Based Test) mode at various centers across the country, although the exact date is yet to be confirmed.
Enhanced Security Measures
Dr. Meenu Vajpayee, Vice Chairman of the National Examination Board, emphasized that the new system is foolproof. The exam papers will be prepared just a few hours before the exam, significantly reducing the risk of leaks. Continuous meetings are being held in the Home Ministry to oversee the examination process, with the entire exam being conducted under the supervision of CERT-IN (Indian Computer Emergency Response Team) and the Cyber Crime Team.
Real-Time Question Paper Preparation
The National Examination Board, which has been conducting the NEET PG exam for over 40 years, has taken unprecedented steps to ensure the integrity of the exam. Given the recent paper leak, the Board has decided to prepare the question papers just two hours before the exam. This move is aimed at eliminating any possibility of irregularities.
Foolproof System Post Paper Leak
In response to the paper leak, the National Examination Board has conducted a thorough review and shared all pertinent information with the government. To further enhance security, questions will be prepared for 230,000 students using a special server managed by Tata Consultancy Services (TCS). Answer Sheet Evaluation
