Nissan Motor India is preparing to launch the facelift of its popular compact SUV Magnite in India on October 4. Earlier, the company has started its booking today (September 30). However, the booking amount has not been disclosed.
The facelift Magnite will be offered with an updated design, more than 20 segment-first features, and 55+ safety features.
The price of the Nissan Magnite can be between Rs 6.30 to 12 lakh.
The price of the Nissan Magnite facelift in India can be kept higher than the current model. Currently, its price is between Rs 6.30 lakh to Rs 11.27 lakh (ex-showroom pan-India). In the segment, it will compete with sub-4 meter SUVs like Renault Kiger, Maruti Fronx, Tata Punch, Hyundai Venue, Maruti Brezza, Kia Sonet, Mahindra XUV300 and upcoming Skoda.
Exterior: New front grille and L-shaped LED DRL will be available
The Nissan Magnite facelift model was seen in the India NCAP test, looking at which it can be guessed that changes will be seen in the design of the updated model of the car. The updated Magnite can get new design headlights with a new grille and front bumper design. However, it will have L-shaped LED daytime running lamps like before.
Interior Features: 7-inch driver display and wireless phone charger
The cabin layout may remain the same, but it can get a large touchscreen infotainment system and an electric sunroof. Apart from this, features like a 7-inch digital driver display, ambient lighting, and wireless phone charger can also be given. For safety, the SUV will also get features like 6 airbags standard, a 360-degree camera, a tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS), and a child ISOFIX seat anchor.
Performance: Will get mileage of 19.70kmpl
The current engine setup is expected to be available in the Nissan Magnite facelift. With this engine and automatic transmission, the ARAI-certified mileage of the car is 19.70 km, while the manual transmission gives a mileage of 19.35kmpl.
