Nitish’s pressure politics started even before government formation

Must read

Since the Lok Sabha elections, NDA’s allies, especially JDU, have started putting pressure on the Modi government. Under this politics, Nitish Kumar has put forth his demand before BJP even before the formation of the government. According to sources, Nitish Kumar wants to think once again in a new way on Agniveer. Along with this, the party believes that UCC is a complex subject, hence there should be a comprehensive discussion on it with all the people. However, JDU has given its consent on one country, one election.
Actually, all political parties have their own opinions regarding the Uniform Civil Code. Some people want it to be implemented in the country, while many parties are not in favor of it. The situation is similar regarding Agniveer Yojana. Most political parties are not in favor of this.

Nitish and Naidu want big ministries

Apart from this, Nitish has also put forward many other demands before BJP. According to sources, such information has been received that JDU and TDP are especially eyeing those ministries, which BJP seems to be in no mood to give. Both the parties want to get big ministries like Home, Defence, Finance, External Affairs, Highways, Commerce, Railways, Agriculture, Petroleum etc. But BJP is not in favor of giving these top 5 ministries.
Today i.e. on 7th June, NDA meeting is being held in which it will be decided which Dal will be given to which ministry. However, this time it will not take much for BJP to take this decision. Because BJP has not got full majority. In such a situation, both the parties JDU and TDP want to take control of big ministries. He says that even in earlier coalition governments, such important ministries were given to allies.

BJP also placed a big condition

Sources said that in view of this politics, BJP has also put some conditions for him. BJP says that they will accept the demands of Nitish and Chandrababu Naidu but only when both of them themselves take responsibility of these ministries. To do this, Nitish will have to leave the post of Chief Minister and Chandrababu Naidu will also have to refuse to take oath as CM.
It is being speculated that BJP is not in favor of giving this top ministry to other MPs of JDU and TDP. This is because the Bharatiya Janata Party had made major reforms in railways, road transport etc. in its second term, and now it does not want to slow down the pace of reforms by giving these ministries to its allies. However, it is possible that they may have to compromise on some of the conditions of the bono supporting parties.
