UK-based tech company Nothing is going to launch a new smartphone ‘Nothing Phone 2a Plus’ in the mid-budget segment tomorrow (Wednesday, July 31). The company has given information about the launch date on the official website and social media handle X. Nothing Phone 2a Plus will be an advanced and upgraded version of Nothing Phone 2a launched earlier this year.
The smartphone is expected to have a 6.7-inch flexible AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate, 50MP dual camera setup and wireless charging support. The company launched its previous version with three storage options. The company can also launch the upcoming smartphone with 3 storage.
The starting price of 8GB + 256GB of the new version can be Rs 30,000. The company has not shared any information about the upcoming device, but almost all its specifications have been leaked in media reports. Read the detailed specifications here…
Nothing Phone (2a) Plus: Expected Specifications
Display: Nothing Phone 2a Plus can get a 6.7-inch 10-bit flexible AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Whose peak brightness can be 2000 nits and resolution 1080×2400 pixels.
Camera: For photography, a dual camera setup can be found on the back panel of the smartphone. Which will include a 50 50-megapixel Sony LYTIA primary camera and a 50MP ultra-wide angle camera. At the same time, Nothing can give a 32MP camera for selfies and video calling.
Processor and OS: For performance, MediaTek Dimensity 7350 chipset will be available in Nothing Phone (2a) Plus smartphone. It will work on out-of-the-box Android 14-based Nothing OS 2.5 custom skin.
Battery and Charger: For power backup, the smartphone is expected to have a 5000mAh battery with 45W fast charging support. According to media reports, 15W wireless charging support can also be found in the upcoming device.
Connectivity options: For connectivity, the phone can have 5G, 4G, 3G, 2G, Wi-Fi, GPS, NFC, Bluetooth and a USB Type-C charging port for charging and audio jack.
