Ola Electric Bike: Ola Electric has launched its first electric bike Roadster X in the Indian market today (05 February). The electric two-wheeler maker has introduced two models of the bike – Roadster X and Roadster X+. Ola claims that the top variant of the Roadster X+ will get a range of 501km. Apart from this, it will get features like geo fencing, anti-theft alarm and traction control.
Roadster X has been launched with three and Roadster X+ with two different battery pack options. That is, both the models have been introduced in a total of 5 variants with different battery packs. The ex-showroom price of the starting variant of Roadster X has been kept at Rs 89,999 lakh, but under the launch offer it can be purchased for Rs 74,999. The price of its top variant goes up to Rs 1.09 lakh.
At the same time, the ex-showroom price of the starting variant of Roadster X + has been kept at Rs 1,19,999 lakh, but under the launch offer it can be purchased for Rs 1,04,999. Its top variant is priced at Rs 1.69 lakh. The company has started booking all the bikes and their delivery will start from March 2025.
The Ola Roadster X range will compete with affordable electric bikes like Oben Roar EZ, Revolt RV1, Revolt RV400 BRZ and Pure EV Ecodrift. At the same time, the Roadster X + will compete with more premium electric bikes like Oben Roar, Revolt RV400 and Matter Era. All bikes will get a standard warranty of 3 years / 50,000km.

Design: 5 colour options will be available
The company has introduced the Roadster X series in a sporty look to compete with the bikes in the commuter motorcycle segment. Ola Electric Roadster X Series has been introduced with 5 color options. It includes Ceramic White, Pine Green, Industrial Silver, Stellar Blue and Anthracite color.
The bike has a storage box in place of the fuel tank, where its charger can be kept. The battery pack is placed below it. Apart from this, the bike has a two-light headlamp setup like Ola scooter with an integrated DRL strip, sleek LED taillamp and single piece seat.
Hardware: Front telescopic forks and rear dual rear shock absorbers
Ola Roadster X and X+ electric bikes have telescopic forks at the front and dual rear shock absorbers at the rear for comfort riding. For braking, the Roadster X has drum brakes in both wheels, which has Combined Braking System (CBS).
At the same time, the Roadster X+ has disc brakes at the front and drum brakes at the rear. It has single-channel ABS standard with brake by wire technology. Both Ola electric bikes have 18-inch front and 17-inch rear alloy wheels with tubeless tires.
Features: Cruise control and reverse mode
The Roadster X and X+ feature a 4.3-inch color LCD screen equipped with MoveOS 5. It will get smartphone connectivity features like turn-by-turn navigation, call and SMS alerts and remote unlock. The electric bike has three ride modes – Sports, Normal and Eco along with features like TPMS and OTA updates. Both electric bikes also have a small boot storage space to keep the charger. Roadster X+ will also get advanced regen, reverse mode and cruise control.
