PAK Vs IND: India has won two in two matches in the ongoing ICC Champions Trophy 2025. After defeating Bangladesh in the 1st match, The Men in Blue also won their second match against the Men in Green at Dubai International Cricket Stadium in Dubai yesterday.
Pakistan won the toss and opted to bat first. But their batting was good in patches and that’s why, they managed to post a decent score of 241 runs. India was under some sort of pressure. But Rohit Sharma and his men bounced back well because of spirited fielding efforts and wonderful display with the bowl and bat.

1. Virat Kohli –
This list of top five cannot start with a mention of The King. He was the one who led another run chase from the front. In a run chase of 242, the chase master scored an unbeaten 100 runs and steered India to a six-wicket win.
2. Kuldeep Yadav –
The chinaman bowler went wicketless in the first game versus the Bangla Tigers on Thursday. But in a crunch situation, Kuldeep bounced back and triggered a mini Pakistani collapse. Yadav picked up two scalps in the first two deliveries and he was also on a verge of picking up a hat trick at one stage. Still, his match figures of 3 for 40 were good in the context of the match.
3. Saud Shakeel –
This batter from Pakistan batted as the opener in their first match versus New Zealand and scored just six runs. In yesterday’s game, Shakeel batted at number three and scored a fine half-century. Saud is the only batter from Pakistan to score a fifty in the last game. Shakeel also shared a good partnership with skipper Rizwan and that was the only period in the whole match when India was under pressure.
4. Shaheen Shah Afridi –
The premier pace bowler of The Men in Green, Shaheen Shah Afridi gave India the starting blow. He picked up the wicket of the Indian skipper Rohit Sharma for just 20 runs. But later, it was only the Indian batters, Kohli, Shreyas and Gill who ruled the game after that early first wicket. Overall Shaheen picked up just two scalps. However, he should have picked up more wickets to put Pakistan on top of the game.
5. Shreyas Iyer –
India‘s number four position batter Shreyas Iyer has been in good form at that batting position in the One Day International format. Iyer has been in good touch with the bat. He played well in the three-match series of the fifty overs format against England and yesterday as well, Iyer scored a well-complied 56 runs and even shared a 114-run partnership with King Kohli.
