China is always in the news regarding Arunachal Pradesh. Now it has once again revealed its nefarious intentions. China is upset over Indian mountaineers naming a mountain in Arunachal Pradesh after the sixth Dalai Lama. China has once again claimed Arunachal while expressing displeasure over this decision of India on Thursday.

NIMAS is located in Dirang, Arunachal Pradesh, which works under the Ministry of Defense. A press release from the Ministry of Defense said, ‘Naming the hill after the sixth Dalai Lama is to honor his immortal wisdom and his profound contribution to the Monpa community.’

On the naming of a peak in Arunachal Pradesh after the sixth Dalai Lama, Lin Jian, the spokesperson of the Foreign Ministry of neighboring country China, said that he does not know what this is about. He further said that Zangnan is Chinese territory and it is illegal and invalid for India to establish ‘Arunachal Pradesh’ in Chinese territory. Let us tell you that China calls India’s Arunachal as Zangnan.

China’s claims are baseless – India

Rejecting China’s claims on Arunachal Pradesh, India said that Arunachal is an integral part of this country and it is not going to change with anyone’s illegal claim.

China has been claiming Arunachal

There has always been tension between India and China over Arunachal Pradesh. China claims this area as its own while India considers it an important part of its territory. China does not even consider the people of Arunachal Pradesh as citizens of India, but calls them its own. Therefore, the people there do not need a visa to go to China. Experts believe that China issues stapled visas because it is just a paper document. If it issues a visa, it will mean that it has accepted India’s claim on Arunachal Pradesh.
