The Lok Sabha by-election has begun. Along with this, the leaders have also started filing nominations. Meanwhile, Priyanka Gandhi, the darling of the Gandhi family, has also entered the electoral fray and has filed her nomination. Or should we say that she had to be fielded because perhaps the Congress does not have any special face left from whom they can get votes, that is why they made the Wayanad seat a family seat and Priyanka had to be fielded after 25 years at the age of 52.
Involved in election campaign for 35 years
Priyanka said during the road show in Kalpetta that she has 35 years of experience in politics. She has been campaigning for her father, brother and mother since the age of 17. She first campaigned with her father Rajiv Gandhi in 1989. However, this will be the first time she will ask for votes for herself. Let us tell you that Priyanka gave this statement after the statement of BJP candidate Navya Haridas in which Navya had said that she has more experience of representation than Priyanka.
How much property does Priyanka have?
In this road show, she has also declared her property. In which she told that she has total property worth 12 crores and her husband Robert Vadra has property worth 65.54 crores. Out of which Priyanka has movable property worth 8 crores and immovable property worth 4 crores. Robert Vadra has movable property worth 38 crores and immovable property worth 27 crores.
Who will she be competing against?
Now if we talk about Wayanad election, then this is the same seat which was vacated after Rahul Gandhi resigned. Now voting will be held on 13 November. Where Priyanka will be competing against 39-year-old BJP candidate Navya Haridas and Satyan Mokeri of LDF. Now it has to be seen who the public will choose this time. Along with this, if Priyanka wins this election, all three members of the Gandhi family will be seen in Parliament. That is, Rahul and Priyanka in the Lok Sabha and Sonia Gandhi in the Rajya Sabha.
