“Balkaur Singh, the father of the late singer Sindhu Moosewala, has shared a video on his social media handle claiming that the Punjab government is “harassing” him by asking him to present documents related to the IVF process.
The late Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala, who was shot dead in the year 2022, was the only child of his parents. A few days ago, his father Balkaur Singh and mother Charan were blessed with a baby boy with the help of IVF. After this news, there was a wave of happiness everywhere, and everyone congratulated the parents, saying Sidhu was back. Now, he has claimed that the Punjab Government is “harassing” him over the legitimacy of the newborn.

In a recent video shared on his Instagram account, he said, “Due to Waheguru’s blessing and the prayers of my well-wishers, we are again blessed with a baby boy, but the government has been harassing us since morning, asking me to furnish the documents of the child to prove him legitimate. I want to request the government, and especially the Chief Minister, to give me some time. I belong to this place, and other than that, I am a soldier and respect the law, so I will present you all the documents, but first let the treatment be over.”

Additionally, as per the new law passed in December 2021, the age limit for IVF in India is between 21 to 50 for women and 21 to 55 for men, and in this case, the age of Charan Kaur is 58, and Balkaur is 60.”
