Sagility India Limited’s stock was listed today i.e. on November 12 at ₹ 31.06 on the National Stock Exchange (NSE) and Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), up 3.53% from the issue price. The issue price of this initial public offering was ₹ 30.
Bidders opened the IPO for bidding from November 5 to November 7. Investors subscribed to the IPO a total of 3.20 times in three trading days. The retail category received subscriptions 4.16 times, qualified institutional buyers (QIB) subscribed 3.52 times, and the non-institutional investors (NII) category subscribed 1.93 times.
The issue of Sagility India was worth ₹2,106.60 crore
This issue of Sagility India, which provides healthcare-focused solutions and services, was worth a total of ₹2,106.60 crores. For this, the existing investors of the company sold 702,199,262 shares worth ₹2,106.60 crores through an Offer for Sale i.e. OFS. The company did not issue a single fresh share.
Retail investors could bid for a maximum of 6500 shares
Cegility India had fixed the price band of the IPO at Rs 28 to Rs 30 per share. Retail investors could bid for a minimum of one lot i.e. 500 shares. If you applied for 1 lot as per the upper price band of the IPO of Rs 30, then you would have to pay Rs 15,000 for it.
At the same time, retail investors could apply for a maximum of 13 lots i.e. 6500 shares. For this, investors would have to invest ₹ 195,000 as per the upper price band.
Retail investors reserved 10% of the issue
The company reserved 75% of the issue for qualified institutional buyers (QIB). Additionally, they reserved 10% for retail investors and 15% for non-institutional investors (NII).
The revenue of Sagility India increased by 13% on an annual basis
In the financial year 2023-24, Sagility India’s revenue increased by 13% on an annual basis to Rs 4,781.5 crore. It was Rs 4,236.06 crore a year ago.
Net profit increased by 59% to Rs 228.27 crore as compared to a year ago. Profit was Rs 143.57 crore in FY 2023. In the April-June 2024 quarter, revenue was Rs 1,247.76 crore and net profit was Rs 22.29 crore.
