According to the commission, this decision was taken after several technical glitches were reported during the examination. The commission has also announced the new date of the examination. According to the official notification, the exam will now be held on January 31, 2025.

The official notice states, “Since technical glitches occurred during the conduct of Typing Test (Data Entry Speed Test) for Combined Graduate Level Examination, 2024, Shift-II on January 18, 2025, it has been decided to cancel the Typing Test (Data Entry Speed Test) held during Shift-II on January 18, 2025.”
