However, this particular page has gone missing from the diary recovered by the police. Victim’s father, while with holding the specific details of the page’s content, mentioned that his daughter had written about the current state of RG Medical Hospital. Following this revelation, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) visited the father’s home to obtain a copy of the photograph. The father has accused the Kolkata Police of deliberately tearing out several important pages from the diary, a claim for which he asserts he has proof.
Suspicious Actions of Former Principal
While the police have arrested civic volunteer Sanjay Rai in connection with the trainee doctor’s rape and murder, former principal Sandeep Ghosh remains a central figure in the ongoing investigation. Sources have disclosed that Ghosh had deleted all call logs and messages from his phone just a week before the incident, and several contact numbers were also erased. The CBI is currently working to recover this deleted data from Ghosh’s phone, which could provide crucial evidence in the case.
CBI Faces Stonewalling During Investigation
The CBI has been rigorously questioning Sandeep Ghosh, yet he has remained evasive, refusing to answer around seven critical questions.
